The Eden Alternative Names Interim CEO, Elects New Board Chair
The Eden Alternative Board of Directors has appointed Kathy Hagen, MBA, interim CEO for The Eden Alternative. Kathy has been with The Eden Alternative since January 2011 and has served as Operations Manager, Project Administrator, and since 2021, Head of Business Operations. Kathy’s involvement in all aspects of the organization makes her uniquely qualified for the interim CEO position. She brings diverse experience inside and outside of the aging sector and leads with passion and commitment through her work at The Eden Alternative.

Angie McAllister, NHA, is the newly elected Board Chair for The Eden Alternative. Angie, a culture and community builder, writer, and speaker, is currently the Spark Performance League Commissioner at Lifespark. Angie has over 27 years of experience in healthcare, proudly having started her career as a Certified Nursing Assistant. Angie led Quality of Life & Culture Change for Signature HealthCARE for over a decade. In this position, she worked closely with over 100 Signature HealthCARE communities to facilitate cultural transformation, assisting over 40 of them in joining the Eden Alternative Registry.
Angie has been an Eden Educator & Mentor since 2011. Angie was named the 2016 recipient of the Nancy J. Fox Leadership Award and the 2018 recipient of the Eden Alternative Champion Award.

Chris, Founder and President of SentryCare, has served on the board in various capacities for 9 years. Since 2018, he served as the Eden Alternative Board Chair. Chris has been a valuable resource to the organization, giving freely of his time and talent and helping to operationalize many of our strategies.
